Miura is proud to launch clippertonproject.com designed for the Clipperton expedition which is due to embark in March 2011. The multi-disciplinary team of artists and scientists will travel to Clipperton Island, 1200 kms off the Pacific coast of Mexico, to undertake a comprehensive study of this mysterious habitat and unique biosphere. The scientists will undertake studies on Climate Change and the Biosphere whilst the artists produce work based on the history of the island and the voyage there. All work (scientific and artistic) will then be exhibited in a variety of institutions, museums and foundations over the course of the ensuing years, and a book will be published reflecting this work and the journey undertaken.

This launch is the result of several months of pro-bono collaboration with the Clipperton Project to help highlight climate change. We created the brand, the website and printed materials

Over the course of the next year Miura will continue to collaborate with the Clipperton Protect in rolling out more tools to publicise the expedition.

The results of the project are likely to be enlightening, and we are delighted to be a part of it.
