Within the arts Trevor Horne Architects have worked with photographer http://www.rankin.co.uk/ to design and retofit his new studio as well as the Victoria Miro Gallery. Within the educational area the practice has delivered school designs for Kent County Council and have also been granted planning permission for larger schemes such as the Birmingham Beorma Quarter skyscraper.
With a value of £150 million the Beorma Quarter scheme comprises of three new buildings around a new public space including a 27-storey tower. The mixed-use development will create 60,231sqm of accommodation, much of which will be BREEAM Excellent rated offices. The refurbishment of a Grade-II listed Cold Store and the retention of locally listed facades are also part of the scheme.
