The Gibunco Group is the most prominent private enterprise in Gibraltar, spanning sectors as diverse as oil and energy, shipping, maritime engineering, logistics, real estate and property development, with an annual turnover in excess of US$3 billion. Gibunco Group is unified by a focus on innovation and excellence.
We were approached by Gibunco Group after we started working with Peninsula Petroleum (a member company of the Group). They were impressed by the work we were doing with Peninsula Petroleum and asked us to redesign their website, while also doing the same for their member companies Gibunco Ship Agency and Scamp . The redesign of Gibunco Group required us to ensure consistency with the work we were doing for its member companies, while at the same time identifying it as a unique company in its own right.
Gibunco Group asked us to design their website, stationary and promotional brochure. The design would have to reflect the prominent positioning of Gibunco Group as well as target the various specific target markets in which each of its member companies specialise.
As a prominent force in the shipping world Gibunco Group required a design that would reflect their status. With this in mind we selected imagery that emanates prominence and strength reflecting the high calibre of the company it represented.
Extending our design role we developed their collateral, business cards, letterheads and envelopes. We concentrated on a simple layout in order to facilitate versatility making the logo the prominent force always bleeding off the right of the page to maintain consistency.
We translated this into the brochure design introducing a strongly image based layout adding to the impact of the brochure thus ensuring that it would act as an effective sales aid for conferences and potential clients.
In order to maximize the content management system built for Peninsula Petroleum we utilized the same site structure for the Gibunco Group, Gibunco Ship Agency and Scamp websites. We brought individuality to the design by using specifically tailored imagery, a different yet complimentary colour palette and a unique homepage design which works to reflect its standing as the parent company.
We continue to work closely with Gibunco Group managing and produced advertising campaigns both offline and online, and we assist them with all their promotional merchandise and business print design requirements.
