Congratulations Speakers for Schools

We would like to extend our congratulations to Speakers for Schools who as of the start of January have become a registered charity (1150411). Miura have been a founding partner of Speakers for Schools and are extremely proud to have supported them so far in their work.

Speakers for Schools was set up by Robert Peston, and launched in 2011 as a programme to provide young people in state schools access to inspirational speakers for free. As a project run by Education & Employers Taskforce they have seen over 800 speakers and 1,500 schools register.

Now funded by Andrew Law of Caxton, he and Robert Peston are working to take Speakers for Schools into every school in the country.

Miura will continue to work with Speakers for Schools and are excited to see the developments and progress they are set to achieve this year. Speakers for Schools offer inspiration to younger generations with an enviable list of speakers willing to donate their time and discuss a broad range of topics bridging the gap between education and business.
