groa° is a category-defining AI business built around a single, powerful idea: Retention-First Growth®. In a market saturated with acquisition-led noise, groa° uses applied AI and intelligence architecture to uncover hidden value, reduce waste, and drive sustainable, compounding profitability.


Our role was to help refine and elevate groa°’s brand strategy and visual expression translating a highly sophisticated AI proposition into a clear, confident, and distinctive brand system.


The Challenge

groa° was already operating at the cutting edge of AI-driven commerce intelligence. The challenge was not capability, but clarity and expression.


They needed a brand that:

  • Reflected their authority and originality in AI

  • Communicated complex intelligence with simplicity

  • Differentiated them from performance-marketing and analytics platforms

  • Scaled across product, publishing, marketing, and thought leadership


Our Approach

We worked closely with the groa° leadership team to refine both positioning and expression, ensuring the brand matched the ambition and credibility of the business.


Our work focused on four core areas:


1. Visual Identity Refinement

We refined the existing brand mark to improve balance, clarity, and digital performance, preserving its equity while making it more ownable and technically robust. A new, restrained colour palette was introduced - deep blues, controlled neutrals, and a confident signal colour - designed to convey trust, depth, and intelligence.


2. AI-Generated Imagery: Light as Intelligence

To avoid generic AI aesthetics, we developed a proprietary visual language built around light.


Light became a metaphor for:

  • Intelligence emerging from complexity

  • Signal cutting through noise

  • Compounding insight over time


Using AI-generated imagery, we created a distinctive, ownable visual system that feels human, precise, and quietly powerful - used consistently across web, advertising, publishing, and social.


3. Data Visualisation & Information Design

Given groa°’s data-driven foundation, we designed a clear and confident approach to infographics and charts.


Principles included:

  • Reduction of visual clutter

  • Clear hierarchy and rhythm

  • Consistent geometry and motion logic


This ensured complex insights feel approachable, credible, and strategic, not technical or overwhelming.


4. Activation: Digital, Social & Publishing

The identity system was rolled out across:

  • Website and product experience

  • Advertising and large-format brand executions

  • LinkedIn and social content

  • The design and launch of the book Retention-First Growth®: The Future of Profitability in Ecommerce
